Halifax Citadel

After returning from Japan, I started my full-time job with the band right away, so I spent almost every weekday with the band for about seven months. Starting in May, the summer band program began, and from the end of May to early August, we performed at around 50 concerts and ceremonies.

This summer, I also had the chance to play in small ensemble, a mixed woodwind quintet. We performed several times at the historic Halifax Citadel.

I’ve always enjoyed playing in small ensembles, so it was great to have so many opportunities to perform in different settings this summer!
