Fishing Fun at Lake William

Lake William is a beautiful spot for fishing, with plenty of smallmouth bass ready to bite. These fish are fun to catch, but in Nova Scotia, rules require you to keep them—releasing them back is not allowed, as they are considered invasive.

The other day, Sam also caught a chain pickerel, another species that must not be returned to the lake. These rules help protect local fish and the environment.

Fishing here is both exciting and relaxing—just remember to check the regulations before you go!
