Halifax Public Gardens

The beautifully resonant sound of jazz lured us to an urban oasis. Halifax Public Gardens, a place for people to relax. It is about 20km from our place, and we biked there. The Public Garden is not allowed to bring the bike in, so we biked outside of the gate. What we thought interesting was that the sign shows “Not allowed jogging”. Thus, people are walking, and it is very relaxed and peaceful. On the way home, we took the ferry from DT Halifax to Dartmouth. There are bicycle racks on ferry and accommodate up to eleven bicycles total. Ferry fare is $2.75 one way. If you pay by cash, it has to be exact amount.
