Flowers in our yard

The blue sky was a pleasant change from yesterday’s rainstorm. The irises have started to bloom all at once. The same flowers bloom every year, but the longer winter makes the colourful flowers stand out even more. Tomatoes bloomed early this year, and lettuce, which used to be very lanky, has become firm. The cucumbers, on the other hand, quickly died out.
