Shubenacadie Canal Trail
Shubenacadie Canal Trail. This trail used to have the inclined planes constructed as part of the 114 km Shubenacadie Canal, which operated between 1861 and 1871. It was used for towing barges loaded with building suppliers, coal and food and those inclined planes were replace by the Intercolonial Railway.
