Lawrencetown Beach

It’s about 30km southeast from our place. Along the Eastern Shore, sand-and-cobble beach is laid to attract surfers. When driving toward the sea, it was foggy and couldn’t see anything, but when we got the beach, the beautiful Atlantic Ocean jumped into my eyes!

Victoria Park in Truro

Victoria Park in Truro, a natural woodland park of roughly 3,000 acres in the centre of the Town. This park has an extensive trail system through tall trees, cliffs, gorges and waterfalls. There was no waterfall because of the season, but I thought it was a natural spa! Just gorgeous!!

Truro

Truro, a town in central Nova Scotia. It is about 80km north from our place. The descendants of the French settled in early 1700s, then after they left, British settled the area and named the village after a city of Truro in UK. Many historical buildings are inscribed year of establishment on the buildings.

It is about 30km bike ride to the Dartmouth Ferry Terminal where you can see Halifax Down Town on the other side of the water. Nice easy ride along the lake.
