Pumpkin Stand

An unattended pumpkin stand I saw in Kings County. The pumpkins were divided into large, medium, and small sizes, and the prices were written on them. There was a tin can next to the pumpkins, so I put in the money for the pumpkins I received. It is very interesting that pumpkins are not only […]

Planters Ridge Winery

Planters Ridge Winery is located in the small town of Port Williams, about an hour’s drive northwest of our Burgundy Dream B&B. The winery is about 10 years old, but they have great wines. Their facility, a 160 years-old barn that was renovated, is a very stylish place to enjoy a light lunch and a […]

Kayaking in the morning mist

Kayaking in the morning mist. Sunrise is at 7:30 am. There was no wind. We paddled out before sunrise and the morning sun appeared as if it guided us.

Happy Thanksgiving

Apple Flan. Flan refers to a pastry made with eggs, sugar, and milk. Flan is also made in France, Spain, and Mexico, but the ingredients and amounts used vary from country to country. I baked with almond cream poured between sliced apples arranged in a crispy pie crust.

Graceful Days – Burgundy Dream video

In the beautifully garden, many birds are gathering. They are spinning around and around, making their chirping noises. The music is “The Little Birds’ Ball” from Petit Ballet Suite “Graceful Days” written by Kengo Tozawa. I made my first multiple recording of a flute quartet. I recorded them separately and asked my friend to combine […]

Enchanted Forest

Very early in the morning just before the sun comes out, you go into the forest in our backyard, close your eyes and listen carefully. You will hear a sound of awakening the forest. You may not see it, but you can hear it. A sound of his footsteps on falling leaves. A Tiny elf […]

In 2020, Canada Army Run launched a virtual event. This year, In-Person Events are held in Ottawa, but they also have virtual events. I completed 21.1k […]

Halifax Public Gardens

The beautifully resonant sound of jazz lured us to an urban oasis. Halifax Public Gardens, a place for people to relax. It is about 20km from our place, and we biked there. The Public Garden is not allowed to bring the bike in, so we biked outside of the gate. What we thought interesting was […]

Kayaking at Lake William

Beautiful day for kayaking. It was about 23℃ on the lake this afternoon. Some people were enjoying jet skies and tubing. Since the beginning of September, temperatures have dropped and it has become rather chilly than cool in the mornings and evenings.

Blackberry Picking

Harvesting blackberries in the backyard hill. It was not easy because of the prickly plants. Sam went boldly into the bushes and picked a lot of them. I made blackberry jam and put it on scones that my neighbor baked.
