Sam’s Fire Pit

Sam came home with a load of bricks—about forty of them—and started carrying them one by one from the driveway to the backyard. It looked like he was finally making one of his longtime dreams come true: building a fire pit. He’d wanted one for years. After some trial and error, he managed to arrange the bricks in a way that kept the heat contained while still allowing it to breathe. Now we’re looking forward to gathering around the fire, keeping warm, and roasting marshmallows under the stars.
