Blackberry picking

Our backyard hill is brimming with wild blackberry bushes, and the end of summer, we harvest as many of the tiny gems as we can. While they may be small and full of seeds, there’s something special about turning them into a homemade pie. This year, I decided to mix things up and baked a peach and blackberry pie, combining the juicy sweetness of ripe peaches with the tartness of fresh-picked blackberries.
