Calle Flamenca

During the summer, I participated in several intensive flamenco workshops by Maria Osende, each lasting two or three days, whenever my schedule allowed. The final three-day session focused on Bulerías, a challenging dance style. Over the course of those three days, we immersed ourselves in the music, rhythm, palmas, and footwork, culminating in the choreography of an entire piece. Although I’m still mastering the basics, the advanced nature of the lessons was made accessible through clear and patient instruction, allowing me to thoroughly enjoy the experience. The culmination of our efforts was showcased at a BBQ party on Aurora North End Street.
