Bringing Home the Perfect Christmas Trees

This year, we went out once again to cut down our Christmas tree—a tradition that’s quickly becoming a cherished annual event. At the U-Cut tree farm, the trees seemed to have grown especially well this season, and we managed to find a beautifully plump one.
Even though a chainsaw could have made quick work of it, we opted for the handsaw and had to saw away bit by bit—it took more effort than expected! Sam looked impressively reliable carrying the tree on his shoulder.
We ended up bringing home not just one but two trees: a chubby one for the yard and a 10-foot beauty for the living room. Both were strapped to the roof of the car as we made our snowy way back home.
