Pride Parade in Halifax

Starting with Halifax’s first Pride March in 1988, where 75 people participated, Pride Week has evolved into a major festival celebrating the city’s diverse community. Now, it attracts over 120,000 participants each summer. This summer, I have marched with the 5th Canadian Division band and Stadacona Band. Sam biked 20 km to come see me. The parade was about 2.5 km long, moving to the rhythm of ♩=125 with dance steps! It was so much fun!
