Nova Scotia Province House

I had a chance to visit the Nova Scotia Province House. Province House is located in Halifax downtown, about 20 minutes drive from Burgundy Dream B&B. It was open in 1819 and is Canada’s oldest legislative building and home to Canada’s first elected House of Assembly.  It was once used as the Supreme Court during the colonial period. It is now used as a library. The building is in the Palladian style, and the dignified interiors of the rooms are quite a sight to behold.
