Staircase to Water’s edge

Sam built a staircase to make it easier for our guests to get down to the water’s edge. He surveyed and made a scaffold that we could leave in place all winter.

Kayaking

First kayaking of the season. This morning was perfect for kayaking, with soft sunshine and a gentle breeze. Late lunch was pancakes and green salad with spinach and avocado smoothie.

Magnolia

Magnolias are blooming. Spring has finally come? Sam stained stairs and deck that he had installed on our backyard hill.

Meditation Deck

It is lovely to see some flowers are blooming in our garden. Sam has installed the meditation deck in our backyard hill. Surrounded by the forest, just sitting in this place is so peaceful and calming.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter Easter Pie, orange cake, and grapefruit salad for Easter lunch.Easter pie has ricotta cheese, egg, sugar, pine nuts, and rice. I used phyllo sheet instead of pie crust. White chocolate coated orange cake has actually grapefruit zest in it. Marshmallow is for bunny’s ears
