I often stay in BnBs, but this one just felt different. Sam and Kauze immediately made us feel at home, and our bedroom and the house were immaculate.  We stayed just two nights, but it set the bar for hospitality, cleanliness, breakfast and a cozy, friendly atmosphere.  We stayed in the Blue Notes Room with two single beds, and it was a very relaxing and restful few nights. Just what we wanted. 

Sam and Kauze are just two genuine hosts.  We even spent a few hours with the hosts and a guest, perfecting our ping-pong game and having a few laughs one evening.

It felt like we were staying with family and friends. I will definitely be staying there when I’m back in the Halifax area instead of an overpriced hotel.

A beautiful home and immaculately clean with great attention to detail.  This is a perfect place if you’re looking to totally relax and rejuvenate.  The serene beautiful forest facing William Lake right in the back where you can take a small hike on the trail, or just sit and meditate on the yoga platform. The hosts Sam and Kazue, are extremly hospitable and accommodating…the loveliest people!!  Breakfast is the best!…which Sam and Kazue will accommodate to your needs. And if you’re in the mood for a little game of Ping Pong, Sam and Kazue will not hesitate to the challenge. Highly recommend the Burgundy Dream B&B, as I know I will return…Thank you Sam and Kazue.

I stayed with my wife and daughter 2 nights at the b&b.  We enjoyed it very much.  It was the best stay during our holiday. Also the breakfast was the best. The b&b is situated at a quiet location between Halifax airport and downtown Halifax.  Sam and Kaz are wonderful hosts.

A hidden gem near Halifax and the airport! My mother and I stayed at the B&B for one night while we were traveling near Halifax. It was incredibly clean, tranquil and comfortable. Sam and Kazue were very kind hosts.

We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway from Halifax, or to find an affordable accommodation close to the city. Thank you Sam and Kazue!

We enjoyed our stay with Kaz and Sam in their beautiful home over looking Lake William. They were very accommodating while we were visiting our daughter’s family over Christmas.  We enjoyed their lovely breakfasts and getting to know them.  The Blue Room was lovely looking over the lake and with lots of storage space. We would like to come back again to explore their property and access the lake.

My husband and I spent 5 days at Burgundy Dreams B&B while coming out to visit our daughter husband and granddaughter! Kaz and Sam were wonderful hosts. The Silver Forest Room we stayed in was beautiful and comfortable. The food was delicious, and the repartee with the hosts was very enjoyable and interesting. The Silver Forest guest room at the Burgundy Dream was more than we expected. Sam and Kaz are most gracious and definitely Super Hosts. They are very helpful with travel suggestions and definitely for getting your day off to a super start with the fabulous, hot, freshly prepared breakfast. This is definitely the place to come to relax or rejuvenate or as a starting point to see the sites in this location of Nova Scotia. We would recommend this lovely home and look forward to coming again in the future.
