The Silver Forest guest room at the Burgundy Dream was more than we expected. Sam and Kaz are most gracious and definitely Super Hosts. They are very helpful with travel suggestions and definitely for getting your day off to a super start with the fabulous, hot, freshly prepared breakfast. This is definitely the place to come to relax or rejuvenate or as a starting point to see the sites in this location of Nova Scotia. We would recommend this lovely home and look forward to coming again in the future.

A really great place to stay!! Ideal for weekend getaways, to work remotely or if you are looking for a cool place to stay for a few days to relax and recharge. Not very far from downtown Halifax. The house and the location is really serene and beautiful. The place is well maintained and super clean!! The hosts Sam and Kazue are so nice and lovely, and they provide a really delicious breakfast. Would highly recommend this place.

My wife and I visited Nova Scotia the first time. We stayed at Burgundy Dream for five days. We were so impressed by so many great things it offered and the excellent services we received from the host, Sam and Kazue. We stayed at their Blue Notes room with King Size bed option. We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the room. The king size bed was super comfortable. Another thing that impressed us was the nice hillside walk behind the house. Following the track to the top, there was a nice platform where I can enjoy the magnificent view of the Lake William, and my wife can do her Yoga. .The same platform is also good for star gazing at night! We also enjoyed the sunset view of Lake William from Sam and Kazue private lakeside property. The view was just stunning. We found Burgundy Dream’s breakfast has gone beyond our expectation as well, as they served homemade jam, muffins, bread and even granola. Most importantly, they were all very delicious! Besides the standard breakfast, Sam also prepared hot meal for us, a heart warming breakfast that make us feel like home. To our surprise, Kazue also played a live flute for us, while we were having our delicious hot meal. Thank you Sam and Kazue for sharing your cozy home with us. Our stay in Nova Scotia wouldn’t be this memorable without your hospitality. We highly recommend Burgundy Dream to anyone who is visiting Nova Scotia
