At the end of April 2025, we spent two night at Burgundy Dream Bed & Breakfast.
Our flight arrived in Halifax just before midnight. Sam stayed awake until our arrival and warmly welcomed us in the middle of the night.
We booked the Silver Forest room for one night, but when we couldn’t pick up our RV at the harbor the following day, we were happy to be able to extend our stay at the Burgundy Dream Bed & Breakfast by a day without any problems.
This meant we were able to enjoy Sam’s freshly made breakfast for the second time, which was truly delicious.

We really enjoyed the conversations over breakfast with Sam and Kazue.

The rooms and the garden are lovingly designed. The rooms and the showers were exceptionally clean.

We highly recommend this stay to everyone.

What a great stay at the Burgundy Dream B&B! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! It is in the perfect location being right by the water but still only 10 mins from the airport and 20 mins from downtown! Sam and Kazue are so fun and we appreciated their company… they made it feel like home! Would recommend to anyone travelling to Halifax.

Sam and Kazue, you were so welcoming, made fabulous breakfast and shared ideas for places we should visit. We really appreciate everything provided. Thank you and continued success.

There was no other guest in the house the night I was there but I enjoyed dinning in front of the lake and the large windows.
The morning was perfect: Sam cooked me an amazing breakfast (scrambled eggs, toasts, bacon, granola, yogurt, fresh fruits, juices, tea  coffee) and I got to talk with him and Kazue for an hour. It is exactly this kind of moment I value when I am traveling. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

We returned to Burgundy Dream Bed & Breakfast to spend the last two days of our maritime vacation. We find Burgundy Dream very suited to relaxing either sitting by the calm and beautiful lake or soaking up the warm autumn sunshine on the deck. The breakfasts that Sam and Kazue prepared for us included “the best” freshly baked banana bread, lots of fresh fruit and a delicious hot dish. Sam and Kazue are warm and friendly hosts and we enjoyed our time with them.

We had a wonderful stay at Burgundy Dream Bed and Breakfast. The house and rooms were beautiful and clean, breakfast warm and delicious. The property with its surrounding woods, lake and private pier was stunning and a destination itself. We wish we had more time to explore. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Sam and Kazue!

What a beautiful place to stay close to Dartmouth and Halifax. It is so peaceful and clean and very welcoming.  We were served a delicious fresh breakfast with fruit and yogurt and omelets.  We will definitely return in the future.
