Really enjoy staying here for a weekend family trip. Very beautiful riverside property with stunning views and even a backyard private trail. The owners, Sam and Kazue are super friendly and helpful. We do enjoy the decent high quality breakfast they prepared. Very clean room and comfortable beds. Highly recommend it if you visit Halifax.

This is a wonderful, large space, overlooking the water. There is a deck and gazebo by the water, and a trail up the hill behind the house. Even a ping pong table in the living room! The room was very cozy, space for relaxing and working and sleeping. 　Sam makes delicious breakfasts!

My stay here was lovely. I stayed two separate nights in the blue notes room which was very cozy with a great view. The house in general is in pristine condition and very welcoming. Both times I had breakfast it was fabulous – far more than I expected. Sam and Kaz are wonderful hosts who are very friendly and open to chatting and sharing experiences. The location was great for me in that it was near the airport but tucked away in a cozy town. Will definitely be heading back whenever I go back to Nova Scotia. Thank you!!

Thank you so much for your warm hospitality. We had a lovely time exploring your trails and walking across to your lake deck. While sitting on the deck this afternoon, we were treated to a flute concert! Breakfast was delicious and the bed so very comfortable. You have a wonderful B&B.

We had never stayed in a B & B before and would now highly recommend the Burgundy Dream B & B to our friends. Kazue and Sam are such gracious hosts. They offer accommodations that are both immaculately clean and welcoming.  The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful.  Sitting with our hosts in the morning over breakfast was a real treat as we were able to get to know each other and learn where we have common interests like cycling and gardening. We would definitely stay at the Burgundy Dream again.

Diese drei Tage haben uns sehr gefallen und würden diesen Ort sofort wieder besuchen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und alles war sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir haben jeden Morgen ein anderes Frühstück bekommen und es war jedes Mal sehr lecker! Sowie der schöne Balkon und der Zugang zum See war traumhaft.

We enjoyed these three days very much and would visit this place again immediately. We were very warmly welcomed and everything was very nicely decorated. We got a different breakfast every morning and it was very tasty every time! As well as the beautiful balcony and access to the lake was gorgeous.

I often stay in BnBs, but this one just felt different. Sam and Kauze immediately made us feel at home, and our bedroom and the house were immaculate.  We stayed just two nights, but it set the bar for hospitality, cleanliness, breakfast and a cozy, friendly atmosphere.  We stayed in the Blue Notes Room with two single beds, and it was a very relaxing and restful few nights. Just what we wanted. 

Sam and Kauze are just two genuine hosts.  We even spent a few hours with the hosts and a guest, perfecting our ping-pong game and having a few laughs one evening.

It felt like we were staying with family and friends. I will definitely be staying there when I’m back in the Halifax area instead of an overpriced hotel.

A beautiful home and immaculately clean with great attention to detail.  This is a perfect place if you’re looking to totally relax and rejuvenate.  The serene beautiful forest facing William Lake right in the back where you can take a small hike on the trail, or just sit and meditate on the yoga platform. The hosts Sam and Kazue, are extremly hospitable and accommodating…the loveliest people!!  Breakfast is the best!…which Sam and Kazue will accommodate to your needs. And if you’re in the mood for a little game of Ping Pong, Sam and Kazue will not hesitate to the challenge. Highly recommend the Burgundy Dream B&B, as I know I will return…Thank you Sam and Kazue.

I stayed with my wife and daughter 2 nights at the b&b.  We enjoyed it very much.  It was the best stay during our holiday. Also the breakfast was the best. The b&b is situated at a quiet location between Halifax airport and downtown Halifax.  Sam and Kaz are wonderful hosts.
