The Burgundy Dream B&B is a lovely place to staying the Halifax area. Spotlessly clean and wonderful hosts. Sam and Kazue made us feel very welcome. The conversation at breakfast was very interesting and the breakfast itself was beautifully presented and delicious. We highly recommend the Burgundy Dream and hosts Sam and Kazue.

We returned to Burgundy Dream Bed & Breakfast to spend the last two days of our maritime vacation. We find Burgundy Dream very suited to relaxing either sitting by the calm and beautiful lake or soaking up the warm autumn sunshine on the deck. The breakfasts that Sam and Kazue prepared for us included “the best” freshly baked banana bread, lots of fresh fruit and a delicious hot dish. Sam and Kazue are warm and friendly hosts and we enjoyed our time with them.

We had a wonderful stay at Burgundy Dream Bed and Breakfast. The house and rooms were beautiful and clean, breakfast warm and delicious. The property with its surrounding woods, lake and private pier was stunning and a destination itself. We wish we had more time to explore. Thank you so much for your hospitality, Sam and Kazue!

What a beautiful place to stay close to Dartmouth and Halifax. It is so peaceful and clean and very welcoming.  We were served a delicious fresh breakfast with fruit and yogurt and omelets.  We will definitely return in the future.

Amazing stay! My friend and I stayed there In the summer and had an absolutely amazing experience. Breakfast was cooked each morning and was fantastic and the room was amazing with a beautiful living room and a wonderful view. There were pamphlets to show us areas to see around the city and the host were very helpful in giving us ideas on how to spend our time while we were there Would absolutely stay again!

I had a fantastic stay here! Burgundy Dream was a cozy and a great spot for a getaway! Sam & Kazue are friendly and their top notch hospitality truly represents what Nova Scotia tourism industry is all about. breakfast was delish, lots of nutritious options and truly made me feel like home. nice & safe neighborhood, with the lakeview, and a bar 5 mins down the road for music night. if you’re looking for a spot to treat yourself, to getaway from all the city noises, I highly recommend this gem!

Really enjoy staying here for a weekend family trip. Very beautiful riverside property with stunning views and even a backyard private trail. The owners, Sam and Kazue are super friendly and helpful. We do enjoy the decent high quality breakfast they prepared. Very clean room and comfortable beds. Highly recommend it if you visit Halifax.

This is a wonderful, large space, overlooking the water. There is a deck and gazebo by the water, and a trail up the hill behind the house. Even a ping pong table in the living room! The room was very cozy, space for relaxing and working and sleeping. 　Sam makes delicious breakfasts!

My stay here was lovely. I stayed two separate nights in the blue notes room which was very cozy with a great view. The house in general is in pristine condition and very welcoming. Both times I had breakfast it was fabulous – far more than I expected. Sam and Kaz are wonderful hosts who are very friendly and open to chatting and sharing experiences. The location was great for me in that it was near the airport but tucked away in a cozy town. Will definitely be heading back whenever I go back to Nova Scotia. Thank you!!
